We guarantee a shelf life of 2 years after production date, storing it dry and dark, at an ambient temperature (20° – 30°C).
Why should I use pure butter ghee (animal), instead of vegetable ghee?
Yes, actually for some reasons:
– Our butter ghee simply has got more taste and an excellent, natural flavor!
– The product characteristics of pure butter ghee (composition of fatty acids) cannot be matched by vegetable ghee
Is pure butter ghee better than butter?
It strongly depends on the application! Both products are 100% natural and directly derived from fresh cow’s milk.
Butter consists min. 82% milk fat and pure butter ghee consists of min. 99.6% milk fat. At any case, you can heat up butter ghee much higher than butter, which could be very helpful in preparing certain (meat) dishes.

Most probably not. We do not have our own cows, but we collect our raw materials from different sources. In this way we cannot fully control the feeding of the cows and therefore we cannot give 100% guarantees that our ghee is 100% grass fed.
Is our ghee Halal?
Yes, our ghee is guaranteed Halal. Every year the independent Dutch halal organization HFFIA executes an extensive audit by checking all our procedures, the production process and technical specifications.
